<\/a>This is an event that’s new to us, so I had to create a logo to begin our communications to the community about this event. \u00a0I looked around on the internet, and I found a few images from other organizations around the country that host this sort of event. \u00a0In particular, I loved this graphic<\/a> for a similar event in Michigan. \u00a0I also found this picture<\/a>, which I liked…but pictures don’t work for a logo. \u00a0So I decided to stylize the picture I found ala the first graphic, but integrate that into the text of the title of the event itself.<\/p>\nAll in all, I think that the logo works fairly successfully, and am ready to move onto the next design elements for the fundraiser — posters, flyers, tickets, etc.!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
